You Might Be A Missionary If. . .

1. You have ever had a problem with a language barrier.

2. You have ever used a curse word in a foreign language and didn’t know it.

3. You wished that miraculous tongue speaking were still available today.

4. You decided not to eat because you either did or did not know what you were served.

5. You have ever had more than a simple case of diarrhea.

6. Toilet paper was more valuable than a job promotion.

7. Cleaning the bathroom has a whole new definition. (Mobile Medical Team)

8. Dropping something into the toilet has a whole new meaning. (Mobile Medical Team)

9. You have ever drank water and wish you hadn’t.

10. Your luggage arrived the day you were going home.

11. Your luggage was lost and you never saw it again.

12. You really can wear someone else's underwear.

13. You have ever been sunburned in January.

14. You ever bought a soft drink labeled as one thing but contained another.

15. You have ever ridden in a rickety airplane, cattle truck and leaky boat all in the same day.

16. You were gone so long from home that a Whopper was considered a delicacy.

17. You know why Moses didn’t need deodorant.

18. You know why Moses struck the rock.

19. You were happier to see your own shower and bed than you were your closest family members.

20. Your pet eats better, has better care and receives more love than many people. 

21. You now know that being poor has a new definition. 

22. You wonder why everyone back home is in such a hurry to get out of worship.

23. You know that real missionaries (campaigners) are not on vacations but enjoy them more.

24. You cried over a child whose name you did or did not know and would never see again. 

25. You gave away your shoes or Bible and wish you had more to give away. 

26. You could not eat your lunch because a hungry child was watching. 

27. You realize your neighbor lives halfway around the world. 

28. You have come to know that the biggest problems in the world are not poverty, sickness or unsanitary conditions, but ignorance of the Word of God, poverty of soul, and lack of soul salvation. 

29. You have concluded that there are far more lost people than you ever imagined and that we waste too much time on unimportant things. 

30. You know that our God is bigger than any genuine problem we face in accomplishing His work and that we need more faith in Him.
